New dates for a new term

We had a lovely 'Not back to school' picnic* at Fiddleford Manor. It was a calm, peaceful location that we were lucky enough to have all to ourselves. But now autumn term is definitely upon us and it is time to make plans.

We have decided to return to fortnightly meetings as it offers us the freedom of meeting up at other locations on the alternate weeks. One of the great things about home education is having access to places outside of school holidays and it makes sense to take advantage of this.

The Meetings page has been updated to show the following dates:

  • Tuesday 9th September 2014
  • Tuesday 23rd September 2014
  • Tuesday 7th October 2014
  • Tuesday 21st October 2014
  • Tuesday 4th November 2014
  • Tuesday 18th November 2014
  • Tuesday 1st December 2014
  • Tuesday 9th December 2014
  • Tuesday 16th December 2014

So roll on next Tuesday, I may not be quite ready for you yet but I'm looking forward to the fun!

*Not back to school picnic's started in 2009 as a collective response to the report compiled by Graham Badman on home education. They were a fun way for us to promote and celebrate how fantastic home education can be. Further information on the Badman report and it's repercussions can be found here.
